What is a Run?

A Run is a single campaign instance created from a Play. It gives the campaign a name and keeps related lead sources, sequences, replies, and analytics together. The Run is not a long setup form. The audience comes from lead sources, and the offer and sender context come from strategy profiles used by sequences.

Run lifecycle

Draft -> Active -> Paused / Completed
StatusWhat it means
DraftConfigured but outreach hasn’t started. You can edit settings, browse leads, and review messages.
ActiveOutreach is live. Leads are moving through the sequence and messages are being sent.
PausedTemporarily stopped. No new messages will be sent until you resume.
CompletedAll leads have finished the sequence.

Creating a Run

  1. Pick a Play from the Play Library
  2. Open the Play detail
  3. Click Create run with play
  4. Give the Run a name
The new Run becomes available in the workspace run selector. From there, find or assign leads, build a sequence, and review messages before launch.

What belongs to the Run

  • The selected Play
  • Run name and status
  • Discovery searches, clues, imports, and manual lead sources
  • Sequences created from eligible enriched source groups
  • Message generation and review state
  • Replies, issues, and analytics

Changing a Play on a draft Run

You can swap the Play on a Run while it is still in Draft status. This resets play-derived setup, sequence state, and dependent campaign structure for that Run. Once a Run is Active, the Play is locked.

Managing multiple runs

You can run multiple campaigns simultaneously, each based on different Plays or audiences. Each Run is independent: leads, sequences, and analytics are separate per Run.
