Overview

Plera sends outreach emails through connected email accounts. You need at least one connected email account before launching sequences with email steps.

Connecting an email account

  1. Go to Settings -> Integrations
  2. Under Email, click Connect Account
  3. Follow the authorisation flow to grant Plera access to send on your behalf
  4. Once connected, the account will appear as an available sender in your workspace

How email accounts are used

When launching a sequence, select the connected email account that should send email steps. Message wording comes from the sequence strategy profile; delivery comes from the connected account. You can connect multiple email accounts, for example one per team member or one per target region.

Email sending limits

Plera respects standard email sending best practices to protect your sender reputation:
  • Messages are spaced throughout the day, not bulk-sent
  • Daily sending volume ramps up gradually for new accounts
  • Plera stops sending to a lead as soon as they reply
Avoid connecting a primary company email domain for cold outreach. Use a dedicated outreach subdomain (e.g. outreach.yourcompany.com) to protect your main domain’s deliverability.

Troubleshooting

Emails not sending - check that your connected account has not revoked Plera’s access. Re-authorise from Settings -> Integrations if needed. High bounce rate - review email coverage for the selected source group, or switch to a LinkedIn-first Play.
