# Credits

Credits are Plera's usage currency. Provider-backed work uses credits as Plera discovers leads, enriches data, generates messages, and sends outreach.

## What credits pay for

* Discovery previews and saved discovery results.
* Profile enrichment.
* Email and contact enrichment.
* AI message generation and regeneration.
* Successful email and LinkedIn sends.

## Why credits matter operationally

Credits affect whether provider-backed work can continue. If a workspace runs out of credits, active work can pause until credits are topped up or the subscription renews.

## How users should monitor credits

Users should check credit balance before launching a Run and review usage while campaigns are active, especially when running discovery or enrichment at larger volumes.
